Visit to ForeverLand - Rendering towards final part 1
It's time to render out this painting, woo! I made several adjustments from the color key over to the final render/color painting, such as the details on the buildings and the shadow and light cast on the balcony. I'm thinking about putting in textures for the balcony, just to add more detail to it. Tiled maybe, or shells? Tilted might be better since shells might make it too busy.
Production Painting - Environment with story
Five value thumbnails centered around the story, Hound of Baskerville from Sherlock Holmes.
I was pretty happy to find out that Sherlock Holmes stories are royalty free now since I didn't want to do yet another fairy tale based painting, having done one earlier this semester for this class (Little Red Riding Hood) and another (Peter Pan) for another class, but on a larger scale.
Character Design - Hero & Villain with animal influences
Six of the more interesting silhouettes (of each) from 20 silhouette brainstorms (of each).
From those six silhouettes, one of each underwent color and character variations.

Eccentric Elizabethans - edited color (Version 2)
I completely recolored her boots and adjusted the eyelashes and brows, since those were too bright and clashed with the rest of the clothing. I believe I cleaned up and repainted the nose in version 2 as well.
The male's legs were the only change I did for the 2nd version.

Eccentric Elizabethan characters - colored
I may go back and fix up the female character's painting though. The eyebrows are kind of too light /invisible. The pants might need some toning down too.

Blockhead/Paper Man template - Syndra from League of Legends
Our assignment for my Digital Media II class was to plot out a character on these blockheads/ paper man templates, and then to print and construct them out with any additional pieces.
To be honest, it took a while to figure out what I needed, where certain details would go on certain parrts but I think I got most of it right!
Now I just need to print and glue pieces together. Here's hoping the pieces all fit properly. I'm worried about the coat tail since there's not inserting flap/fold but it's gonna get glued straight on so maybe it'll be ok.

Visit to Foreverland - Color Key v2
Version (edit) 2 for Color Key. These aren't as horrendous as v1 with the super saturated colors and my lack of figuring out what colors I wanted. In hindsight, I should have taken a color palette from other people's digital paintings and used those instead of guessing colors last week.
