Brand celebrates with Fireworks - colored WIP1 and finished

2:20 AM EST

I actually got through more than I originally thought I would be able to get tonight.
For the most part the scenery is done, except for detailing and textures as well as the fireworks' reflection on the water.
As for Brand, the glowing fire parts are not done at all. Most of the colors are there, just textures and details (highlights, shadows, glows, more texture) are missing.

Work in Progress
Contest: Riot Games' League of Legends' 4th of July/ Canada Day Art Contest.
Oh... I just looked up deadline information; the deadline is actually July 15th. How / why did I think the 8th?

Finished my entry for the contest and submitted it as well.
I think I spent roughly 2 hours today fixing up the details (highlights, shadows) so.... I think that puts the total time spent roughly 6-7 hours?

The Brand actually turned out pretty well!

Brainstorm and In Progress sketch for contest entry

6:32 pm EST

Incomplete sketch  since family wants to eat out for dinner.

Originally I thought I had a week (I probably did but I had to spend time developing the idea and composition), but I've got around 4 days left to finish this before the contest deadline!

11:30 pm EST

Finally finished the sketch! I had to play around with the composition and perspective a bit.
It's a bit...odd.

By the way, I don't think I mentioned what this entry was for (as in which contest.)

League of Legends Pre Season 3 Digi-Art contest - Work In Progress

8:55 pm EST

After brainstorming Thurs before my class and then finally getting a chance to work on finalizing the brainstorm and coloring the piece, this is all I was able to get done yesterday. (Roughly 6 hrs.)

Then for today, before my classes, I was able to finish Jarvan in the hour I had before class started. Now, I'm about to start painting in Teemo.

League of Legends Preseason 3 Digi - art - part 1 (brainstorm)

Picture
5:25 pm EST
Riot Games is holding a digital art contest, which entailed entries to show champion(s) training for Season 3.  It was required to show at least 1 champion and 1 of the new items.
This is just a brainstorm rough sketch with little detail on the champions.
I believe I took around an hour and a half to plan out and to put in some of the details (not for the champions).

Another Challenge - design character for favorite book/game/show

I just saw this and I'm really interested in the idea. (Up for the challenge!)
We'll have to see how much time I have between now, the League of Legends contest I'm thinking of entering and this challenge (along with school work).

If I don't end up entering the challenge, I'll def. try to do the challenge on my own time then!

entry for Draw my OC Contest – part 2 (color, background)

5:54 pm EST

Spent 4 hours (roughly ) coloring, shading and making up the background as I went. I guess roughly 5-6 hours for the whole drawing (brainstorm, sketch, line work and color).

That "box" was originally going to be a table or counter of some sort for him to lean on... then it became a box, with a pot/vase on it.

entry for Draw my OC Contest - part 1 (Brainstorm, line work)

1:58 PM EST

I really feel like the title will confuse someone so I'm going to explain. An OC is "original character" and a deviant on deviantART is holding a contest to draw his/her original characters. There are several to select from  and participants can use any combination of those characters if they wish.

I decided to select the deviant's OC: Barbas (human form). Character is not mine but the design for the clothes is.

I've entered my entry into the CGChallenge (CGSociety)

I've mentioned about the challenge a few days ago, but for those who didn't see the post, the challenge was to incorporate the number 10 either literally or symbolically in some way.

Halloween piece – Witch flying against the Moon – part 2 (finished)

1: 17am EST...why am I still awake? I need to get up early tomorrow!

Image

Done in Photoshop Elements 8.0

Everything except for the gradient (done with fill in layer feature in Photoshop) and the "stars" (custom brush I found on deviantART) were done by hand.

I was planning on finishing this before midnight so I could sleep. At most 2 hours spent on this.
